Concierge Services

  • Child & Adolescent Behavioral Help — I provide help for children and teens who exhibit defiant or non-compliant (acting out) behavior/s.
  • Parent Training — I teach parents effective skills and strategies and help them implement those strategies in real time, in the home.
  • Social Skills Training — I work with people who experience social anxiety in the real world environment, to improve social skills in any and all situations where they are lacking.
  • Anxiety — I help increase self esteem and self confidence through a gradual, systematic, action-oriented approach that takes place in real time, in the real-world environment. I work to reduce and/or eliminate anxiety and help clients feel more comfortable in social situations or any other situations that present challenges.
  • ADHD/ADD — I provide useful techniques and strategies for people who get distracted, have a difficult time concentrating/staying focused, are disorganized, misplace things, and exhibit poor time management.
  • Anger Management — I teach healthy and effective strategies to deal with anger.
  • Coping Skills — I provide healthy and useful strategies for people who are stressed and overwhelmed.
  • Depression — I develop concrete, tangible, and manageable steps to help people out of states of unhappiness and sadness.
  • Phobias — I will help you overcome your fear of flying, heights, elevators, public speaking, etc.
  • Marriage Counseling — I provide real solutions for better communication with your spouse for a happier marriage (implemented in real time, in the home).

In my view, a person who has dealt with his own personal struggles ends up making the best therapist. I’ve had my fair share of struggles (had a stutter, learning disability, ADD, social anxiety, self-esteem issues, depression), but I overcame them. This has made me a better, stronger, empathetic, caring person, which is why I do the kind of concierge therapy I do. I strongly believe in treating the person and giving the family tools to handle individual situations more effectively to bring peace and harmony to the home. When I was struggling and trying to get help, I tried a lot of different things, sought out all kinds of therapies and therapists. Some worked and helped me, and some didn’t work for me. Life is not a success-only journey. Now, coming out the other side, stronger and wiser, I want to take what I’ve learned, the knowledge I’ve gained, and help other people… you know — pay it forward.

My name is Daryn Friedman. I’m a therapist and life coach. I got my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, clinical program. I’m a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of New York. I also have an advanced degree/diploma in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I’ve gotten training and supervision from some of the best therapists and minds in the profession, which has served to make me a better clinician and life coach. I have a lot of years of experience doing therapy under my belt and my skills as a clinician has gotten better with each experience.
